Meditation in motion. These sequences are dynamic and energizing, perfect for diminishing mental noise, working on mobility and increasing the strength and elasticity of your entire body. Within the sequences you will connect with your inner fire and release toxins. You will progressively learn to low more and more as you keep coming to class. Each teacher has a personal touch. For example, Vinyasa Basics with less complex postures, Power Vinyasa with more focus on gaining strength, etc.
Yin
These slow-paced sequences focus primarily on floor postures maintained for 3 to 10 minutes. We seek the total relaxation of the muscles, taking into account the natural falling of your body without demanding a certain alignment. This restorative practice for all ages and levels, increases your flexibility and favors the deep revitalization of your organs, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue (fascia). In addition, it calms, frees and improves your self-esteem.
Learn to Meditate
Have you been wanting to learn how to meditate for a while? More and more studies are corroborating the benefits of meditation, proving that this contemplative technique leads to transformative changes. Well, your time has arrived! We will give you tips on how to incorporate meditation into your day-to-day life in a simple way.
Barre
This low-impact fitness discipline combines the elegance of ballet, yoga body awareness, and Pilates muscle control. Using tools such as the ballet bar, balls, weights and elastic bands, you tone your body, improve flexibility, balance and posture through a series of small, controlled and repetitive movements. You work on specific muscle groups (legs, buttocks, abdomen, arms). Thus, you strengthen and tone, improve your posture and balance, strengthen the core and align your spine.
Hey, kids!
Children's yoga is an adaptation of classic yoga designed specifically for boys and girls. In practice we will attempt the combination of physical postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and games in a fun way, with the aim of promoting the creativity as well as physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Bench and Mantras
In this medium intensity session we combine the chanting of mantras with bench exercises to strengthen the abdominal and lumbar area and release tension. The perfect practice to try something different and for working on the body and calming your mind. It has been proven that the repetition of mantras produces numerous benefits both physically and mentally through the vibration of sound and its repetition.
Hatha
This ancient sequence of static postures reveals the root of yoga practice. It is ideal for delving into every detail, combining stretching, breathing and meditation. HA means sun, and THA means moon; this term assumes the union between solar/yang energy and the lunar/yin energy that inhabits each person.
Ashtanga
This is a dynamic, intense and structured style of yoga based on a fixed sequence of postures, seeking the connection between mind, body and breath. It is known as “the eight-part yoga” because of the eight steps or limbs that describe Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Since it is always the same sequence, the person can easily observe the improvements.
Rocket
This type of dynamic and very intense sequence finds its origin in traditional Ashtanga. However, the sequences can be modified without following a rigid pattern by adapting to each body and moment. Rocket I is based on the first series of Ashtanga and works on the opening of the hips, forward push-ups and strength. It also includes plank exercises and inversions. Rocket II is sourced from the second series of Ashtanga and focuses more on opening the chest and torsion exercises. Since both sequences are complementary, they alternate every week.
